We have been breeding Angus cattle for 66 years now and we were commercial breeders long before we commenced the stud. Out of necessity in the early years, we ran our cattle at high stocking rates turning off weaners as commercial breeders. We have carried this breeding philosophy into the stud and continue to run our cattle at higher stocking rates than most. 
Here at Clunie Range we consider our female herd as unique. Our females are the backbone of our operation. Our females are run under strict conditions which always has been our approach as it allows us to be more selective with breeding decisions. Fertility is a huge focus for our program. We feel very strongly that our female herd sets us apart from most studs in this respect. Our cattle are tough, fertile and adaptable in type that is in high performance mode all year round.
